Feels like CT is getting impatient about Trump announcing something concrete related to the strategic Bitcoin reserve. Hyper jumpy traders thought this teaser was a sign that some sort of executive order related to the SBR was coming today, while CZ seemed to think this ends up confirming the SBR. BTC was up slightly on the day, still trading at $105k, ETH is a stablecoin at $3.3k and SOL slipped a few points to $250. On the day, most alts traded down, led by weakness in ai16z, Fartcoin and Virtual (all down 14%+). Top 100 strength over the last 24hrs was led by XDC, ETC, KCS, ONDO, VET and MNT, which were all up MSD. Over the week, the top performers list continues to look the same led by TRUMP, RAY, SPX, Fartcoin and SOL.

Fartcoin wicked down to $1.2bn last night after GOAT’s founder agreed to sell some of its Fartcoin OTC. This, plus a few other updates led to signs of life in GOAT, which rallied from ~$250mm to $360mm (before giving back most of the move already).

Outside of Trump/SBR, the market currently feels like it is lacking much of a narrative. Alt open interest totals are slightly elevated (by ~500bps) at their current 35%, which is not as concerning as the typical alt peaks marked by 40%+ dominance.

In a sea of mostly red, the recent strength in MNT is definitely notable. The team has a ton of new products coming out this year (including one dedicated to AI and agents), and I feel the token is still very much under owned. Try app.vertexprotocol.com and trade MNT with up to 10x leverage.

The onchain market broadly is getting brutalized again, with most onchain tokens down double digits, led by 20%+ downward moves in BOTIFY, LLM, $1, UFD, HAT, AVB, ALCH, zerebro, MLG, build and AVA. Onchain currently feels like more of a traders market vs. one that benefits holders. Big runner of the night was VINE, which has now done $1bn in 24hr volume (and ran to $350mm). The token was actually launched by Vine’s founder (and there are rumors that Musk may buy it?). Other strength on the day included YAPSTER, SBR, DOGE, DOGEAI and Y2K.

Onchain TG bot volumes have held up pretty well following the TRUMP launch surge, maintaining ~$400mm daily levels (which is like 4x higher than 2024 averages).

Moonshot volumes continue their downward trend, as both users and volume are reverting. Though volumes are still very high at $163mm over the last 24hrs.

Moonshot favorites on the day included DOGE, VINE, BOP, GCR, LUCI and $1.
