Craziest weekend in crypto, potentially ever. Days before his inauguration, Trump launches his official meme coin that has now run from $500mm (when onchain lurkers saw it) to $65bn! The launch was highly bundled, with Trump’s team still holding ~80% of the token (and selling at least $500mm via Meteora single sided liquidity).

The majority of Trump’s net worth is now in crypto, so risk is definitely going to be on for some time. The event also brought a lot of retail participants back into the market. The Moonshot app (listed on Trump’s token page), rose to #5 in free apps (ahead of Tik ToK), they processed over $400mm of volume and onboarded 200k people. Current Moonshot favorites (by volume) over the last 4hrs included USA, $1 and MUSTARD.

Outside of TRUMP (which also got listed on Coinbase and Binance), top 100 strength was led by Fartcoin (+44% to $2.4bn), along with ONDO, SPX, HYPE and ai16z which were all up +13%. SOL has been on a wild run from ~$180s to $272 with it being knighted “Trump’s chain” while Vitalik responded by changing his pfp to a Milady and buying $50k of PEPE…

The massive PnL stimulus of TRUMP paired with the large amount of new users that have been brought onchain has led to wild moves in most onchain coins, led by wild pumps in old retail favorites like $1, Manyu and RZLR, along with American themed coins like SHIT and USA. Some AI coins are also showing strength after getting brutalized during the TRUMP liquidity drain, including TSOTCHKE, GRIFFAIN, GRPH and GRIFT.

TRUMP obviously soaking up a lot of attention at the moment, but I think attention will start finding a new home from this point. Current attention gainers over last 24hr included ELON, BARRON, USA and Fartcoin.
