Relatively boring day in the markets, with the majors flat. All eyes are on tonight’s Presidential debate and tomorrow’s CPI report. On this bounce in the majors, there has been notable strength in select alts worth paying attention to including FTM, AAVE, ICP, INJ and FET.

Alt outperformers on the day included SUPER, WOO, ICP, LUNA, FET and GMT. While from a mindshare gains perspective, CAT, DOG, REEF, FTM and FET were today’s leaders.

We’re a few weeks away from the end of crypto’s historical “quiet period” and this crazy stat from today helps really drive home how much better it is to lockin during October-Apr and to sell in May.

Relatively quiet day onchain as well. New launch CATE was probably the highlight of the day, quickly running to $16mm (and is the only new launch with $100k+ of smart holdings at the moment). ETH as a chain continues to be the “safest” space for onchain gambling, which DEX bot volume trends also support (see ETH’s relative share gains).

From a mindshare perspective, VISTA is back on top and was one of the largest attention gainers on the day along with SCF, CATE and rocky. ETH coins still dominating attention though again select SOL memes have held attention pretty well.

• Outside of the established memes, the SOL smart money bid has completely evaporated. Today’s buying was seen in POPCAT, FWOG and BILLY

• The EVM side, despite some recent strength is still skittish, with balances way down on recent winners NEIRO and VISTA.
