The Quiet Before Liberation Day
We got a little bit of relief in the markets today on more “lenient” commentary from Trump. The S&P was up 50bps, BTC traded up 2% to $83k while ETH & SOL remained at $1.8k / $126. BTC dominance ticked up to over 62% while ETHBTC hit December 2020 lows. BTC continues to hold up well all things considered (the last time the Nasdaq was this low BTC was ~$60k). SOL has notably been heavily defended at this level as well, and the SOL trenches need a bounce or things will get ugly.
The GUN token launched with a 6% float (and has traded down only), but overall alts had a pretty good day, led by strength in WAL, VINE, CRV and Fartcoin. TRUMP token has a $400mm unlock coming up, Vitalik is stabling up shitcoin dust, BlackRock is bull poasting BTC, the White House is talking about stimmy checks from tariffs and Saylor bought another $2bn of BTC.

Today was actually pretty good onchain, with Housecoin running to ~$6mm, FISH2 to $4mm and new launch COUNTRY hitting $5mm. Existing coins like RFC also had decent moves and the timeline is talking about titcoin being the new fartcoin.
RFC surged to the top spot of SOL onchain mindshare on the day (followed by Fartcoin and titcoin). KTA also put in a 30%+ reversal today.
Axiom has now flipped both Bullx and Photon in terms of daily fees.
While overall TG trench trading volumes have reverted down to November 2023 levels…
