SOL Euphoria

I’ve never seen anything like this. The “send money to a random address” presale meta on Solana has produced an absolutely crazy degen environment, with degen trading volumes on SOL surging to $348mm yesterday, the highest ever in terms of TG trading. This trend is sucking liquidity & attention away from everything else. ETH volumes comparatively were only $20mm the past few days, which is the lowest since early February.

There is no better example of this craziness than BOME, the token that kicked off the presale meta, which ran to a $1bn market cap in less than 48 hours (the fastest I think I’ve ever seen). Not only did BOME hit $1bn in less than 2 days, it also was announced to be listed on Binance in the same amount of time. One address in particular sent $72k into the BOME presale which has turned into over $30mm. We’ve seen some eyewatering PnLs from chainEDGE SOL smart money traders, with 💎 Gem Spotter Asyuz...8e6 and 💎 Gem Spotter 4RrzL...Tvn generating a combined $800k of realized PnL on BOME. Over the past 6hr, smart money is still quite bullish on both BOME and SLERF with each receiving $900k+ of net buys. SLERF is another great example of the SOL euphoria market, a token where the dev accidentally burned all of the presale tokens along with the LP (over 53k SOL). Despite launching just 4 hours ago, the token hit a $500mm market cap and is expected to be listed on Bybit along with rumors of listings on Binance and OKX.

On ETH, there still has been pockets of strong price action, primarily on AI coins leading into today’s NVDA conference. Notable DEX AI outperformers over the last 24hr include MDAI, TAS, ZKHIVE, TEQ, PAI, MND and MONAI. TAO has also been running towards ATHs again, currently trading at $715. Smart money favorites within the AI/DePin category include GNUS, BLENDR, CETI, SCALE, OLAS, ZKML, NMT and TEQ.

In terms of shiny new tokens, SOL’s BOME and SLERF are dominating volumes and attention. While on the EVM side TEQ, AIA, SHFL and MDAI seem like the most interesting. After another round of $1bn+ of liquidations over the past 4 days, BTC has recovered back to $68k. SOL is also nearly back to ATH, currently trading at $207 vs. its $258 pico top in November 2021. It certainly feels like the SOL meme meta has topped for now, as it usually does when degen volumes spike this hard (similar to Christmas 2023).

WHAT TO WATCH TODAY

• AI Coins - While SOL and its memes have been soaking up all the attention with the unbelievable BOME and SLERF launches, it seems there is a rotation back into the right curve side of the market (AI) leading into NVDA’s conference today

  • Notable strength right now is seen in MDAI, TAS, BUILD, TEQ, ZKHIVE, MND, PAI and MONAI

• SOL MEMEs - While this meta has probably topped near term (at least the send money to random address meta), other more established Sol memes may catch a bid from all the recent SOL winnings. Additionally a wallet connected to GCR bought a WIF NFT for $4mm, which likely drives some money back towards WIF

• BEFI Labs - This BRC20 trading terminal will see its LBP start today

• ZERO1 LBP - ongoing LBP for this decentralized AI agent network

• ARCX TGE Today - This AI/DePin/BTC/MOR project will launch its token today

• WMC - the “first ever ERC20” is starting to pick up some attention trading up 150% over the past 24hr to a $14mm market cap

• SOL AI Presale - Connected to the WHALES ecosystem, this project has raised $30mm in its presale (which is closed now) and is likely worth watching
