We’re back from another break and frankly it feels like we haven’t really missed anything. Alts & the trenches have been beat up for most of the year, while the majors are still down YTD. Liquidity has dried up for shitcoins with people choosing to pivot to equity gambling or prediction markets. In fact, Polymarket just had its highest volume month ever in November (and equity retail volumes hit similar levels in October I believe).

Crypto markets have bounced back a little from the recent flush lows, with BTC up 10% to $92k and ETH also up 11% to $3.1k. QT officially ended today and even alts like Fartcoin have doubled off the recent bottom. Looking at OTHERS dominance, we can see how painful this year has been, showing that alts have basically been in a non stop bleed all year vs. the majors. We’re not almost to the 2021 lows (so maybe we bottom soon?).

BTC dominance remains at ~60%, most coins have gotten killed over the last 3 months, with tokens like ENA, TIA, ARB and OP down more than 50%. The MONAD token launch also has been pretty uneventful, trading from $0.025 → $0.048 back to $0.03. Best performers over the last 3 months have been ASTER, ZEC, MYX, DASH and XMR.

Volumes in the trenches continues to bleed out..

And the token launchpad wars are also over, with Pumpfun back to ~97% market share.

Prediction markets have taken all of the trenching liquidity away from shitcoins, with volumes now ~4x higher across PM products vs. SOL trading bots.
