BTC broke $100k on the 5th, sold off down to $96k, ran it back to $102k and now we’re at $100k again. The timeline has been filled with top signal chatter and as recently as yesterday called for the end of “meme coins”. Memes were actually the strongest horses on the day (and for the first time in a bit), led by PNUT, FLOKI, PEPE and WIF. MOG was the strongest performing meme over the last 7d, running +45% while HBAR and CRV were the overall 7d leaders after 2x-ing. PEPE now has hit $10bn, while POPCAT and MOG are in a race for the top cat coin.

ETH recently broke $4k and SOLETH is down 11% in the past week, while ETH ETF inflows continue to look very good, led by $430mm of flows on 12/5.

AIXBT still leads alt mindshare (as of yesterday), though this has been trending down. LUNA, BILLY and CENTS were other AI mindshare leaders. Moodeng, Bonk and PNUT were the notable meme mindshare leaders on the day.

The onchain market has still been led by SOL AI strength, with ai16z running to $700mm (and getting close to flipping GOAT). The strongest AI coins on the day were GRIFFAIN (shilled by Toly), GRIFT, TSOTCHKE, ALCH, GNON, BINARY, nothing and CHAOS. Onchain memes also showing some strength led by LUCE, MUMU, FWOG and the one and only Rizzmas.

chainEDGE onchain mindshare (which also takes into account volume) was led by AI coins as well, with ALCH leading and newer coins GRIFT and ASYM not far behind. ASYM and GRIFT were also the strongest new AI launches in a bit, with both running to $12mm+ peaks.

Onchain DEX volumes are still trending down, with Moonshot volumes down only and Photon volumes leveling out.
