BRC20s Rotation
With ORDS breaking out to $220mm ATH, we’re starting to see some life in the BTC ecosystem - this has also been fueled by BTC hitting $53k, its highest since December 2021. We’ve observed BRC20 eco coins like BSSB, SAVM and MUBI catching a bid, with the group up 12-25% over the past 24 hours. BTC NFTs have also been doing very well, with NodeMonkes and Bitcoin Puppets hitting highs.
AI coins continue to be the dominant category in terms of performance and mindshare, with today’s leaders being WEBAI, CORE, GLQ and ENQAI (we have talked about smart money loading up on the last 2 specifically).
ETH is comfortably over $3,100 and Blast mainnet is coming on 2/29 (and the associated unlock of $1.6bn of TVL). While Solana degen volume has been consistently losing relative share, WHALES continues its up only walk, hitting ATHs today of $4.3 / $70mm market cap. WIF has also been quietly pushing ATHs again, currently trading at $443mm market cap, despite SOL/ETH trading down only for all of February (-21%).
From a new coin perspective, TBANK (which we flagged pre launch) launched with a lot of strength, hitting a $14mm market cap at its launch high (currently trading at $8.7mm). SHU has also been performing well - this is a MEV project which we flagged pre and during LBP. The token has bounced ~44% from the lows, and is currently trading at a $394mm FDV. Lastly new launch FWIF (Frog wif hat) was flying today, hitting ATHs of ~$4mm on $6mm of volume (now currently at $1.4mm).
We’ll cover all of the upcoming launches later on in the issue, but the biggest this week is probably Beoble which launches on Wednesday.
From a smart money holding standpoint, the top 0.01% of traders by 6 month PnL have their holdings concentrated in BANANA, OLAS, NMT, TAO, ENQAI, MND and VDO.
And from an abnormal accumulation perspective, the 7d standouts are:
GLQ +896% to $134k
RBN +239% to $290k
FLIP +138% to $196k
MUBI +56% to $476k
ENQAI +29% to $854k
Looking over at degen volume trends, ETH has maintained daily volumes ~40% higher than SOL over the past few days, which actually is a relative share gain for SOL since last week (where ETH was outpacing SOL ~2x).
WHAT TO WATCH TODAY
FWIF strongest new launch of the day. It’s a frog with a hat (and a baguette), so maybe it’s the future of France?
ORDS & BRC20s - between Ordiswap ATHs, certain ordinal ATHs and BRC20 ecosystem tokens bouncing, this meta is worth paying attention to again
TBANK - token has lost near term momentum post launch, but this was the first TPAD launchpad project and aims to be the MKR of the TAO system with their own stablecoin, so it’s definitely worth watching
ABC - Token relaunch today. AlphaBotCalls is one of the more popular call analytics tools, and the relaunch seems to be a bit under the radar
SHU - recently launched MEV project that is performing well after its LBP.
WIF - this is hitting ATHs and I haven’t seen much about it → so going higher?
MTLX - bit of an under the radar token from the FET founder. MTLX is a P2P orderbook DEX powered by FET, which could prove cheap at a $17mm market cap
WHALES - recently hit ATHs, and with no signs of the points meta slowing down, is likely worth paying attention to as the de facto way to long “points”
Also in Partnership with MetaStreet
There are only ~70 days left to farm points in MetaStreet’s ASCEND campaign. MetaStreet is an already established lending platform, going above and beyond NFTs and backed by CT favorites like Andrew Kang, DCFGod and VC investors including Dragonfly. The project even lays out ways to earn more points in their Ascend site, so if you are looking for an easy airdrop farming opportunity, use my code to get started:

SMART MONEY CORNER - Powered by chainEDGE
Notable smart money buying today into GRAIL, SYN, FWIF, WINR and ALEPH, each with $60k or more of net inflows
Sellside flows were seen in SAVM ($220k), TBANK ($107k), RBN, WLD, FEATHER, TRUMP and PALM.
SHU, SYNERGY and FWIF were the most popular new launches by smart money volume over the past 24hr, with SHU being the only fundamental project within the bunch.
Today’s trader highlight is an Early Mover, who has a total realized PnL of $1mm over the past 6 months. They printed big wins in CAGA, COSMIC, CAT, ALPHABET, ANVA and PLUG (while taking minimal $6k or smaller losses on each of their losers). Currently they hold PDX, VMINT and XYXY as core positions.
