BTC tapped $68k again today and was up ~1% over the last 24hr. We’ve seen a whopping $2.1bn of ETF inflows in the last 5 trading days (which is more than 10% of total ETF flows since inception).

We’ve seen a bit of a “changing of the guard” in terms of what is leading from an alt perspective, with the last 7d dominated by outperformance in memes. Strength was led by MEW, MOG, NEIRO, BRETT, DOGE and FLOKI. While non-meme leaders were ENA, WLD, TIA and APT.

DOGE in particular has seen a big increase in CT mindshare in the last 1/7 days, and is now the perp/CEX coin attention leader.

Onchain attention is still on GOAT, which has run to $375mm ATHs this evening. While a lot of beta plays were down double digits including FLOYDAI, FOREST and MEDUSA. Murad’s List memes and culture coins also are catching a bid again following some dilution on the GOAT meta new launch merry go round, with good performance in tokens like USA, mini, LOCKIN and SIGMA in the past 24hr.

Onchain outperformers on the day were all memes (and more ETH memes that we’ve seen for awhile) including:

• KABOSU

• WYAC

• USA

• mini

• GME

• SIGMA

• DRAGGY

GOAT is still the mindshare leader onchain, with bigger figures like Arthur Hayes now shilling it (though attention peaked on 10/16).. There was also a lot of attention on newer coins like SYDNEY, karen, FOREST, AICRYNODE and DBR today.

Overall DEX bot volumes and Photon specific volumes are looking very strong (suggesting that people are locked in and gambling hard onchain). SOL continues to be the dominant volume venue as well.
