BTC Soars Past $70k

BTC Soars Past $70k

Things are heating up. BTC was up 5% on the day and is back above $70k. ETH was also up 5% while SOL rose 3%. Top outperformers in top 100 alts was also notable with THOR, DOGE, ENA, MOG and POPCAT all up double digits. DOGE is now the perp coin mindshare leader (and is leading by ~2x).

The onchain markets have seen most AI related coins down quite a bit, led by Fartcoin, ai16z, degenai, GNON, memesai and wmm all down 20-60% in the last 24hr. Meanwhile bigger “core” memes like fwog, michi and bitcoin were seen moving higher. Normal memes and trump coins were primarily the pockets of strength on the day, led by newer Trump meme, 47:

From a mindshare point of view, LUCE (religious mascot) has taken the top spot in attention after quickly running to $48mm. Overall, attention is flowing back into core memes like FWOG, Mog, SPX and GIGA. Though there are some AI coins like Forest and yousim still retaining the market’s attention.

Onchain dex tool trading volumes made a local peak on 10/24 (when GOAT topped) but things still remain pretty strong overall at ~$150mm. And no surprise here, but SOL is the only real volume venue at the moment.
